Series preview is now up.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

I swear that Christiano Ronaldo looks exactly like a female impersonator who's just taken his wig off.

I've seen better pics of him than that one.

He's no Ballack though.

Mrs Limey's hot for Ballack.  Must be her German genes coming to the fore.  I may have to shoot her before the tournament's over.

About the comment about "some cosmic law that one of the teams playing in Tiger Stadium (sic) has to play like shit"-- I was at the game yesterday in full Astros regalia. As I was walking out, I was being good-naturedly consoled by Tiger fans on the sweep. Many of them said, "Your guys may not be doing well now, but talk to us when they play like that for a 15-year stretch." I had to remind them about the majority of the Astros' first 2 decades.
phew. for a minute there, I lost myself

Ah, the fake condolences.  Well played on their part.  I bet that even as they uttered the comforting words their eyes laughed with gleeful scorn.

So it's Ghanaians. For weeks now, I've been calling them Ghanarians. I guess now I know, but it's a lot less funny.
