As long as the Tigers don't lose their home uniorms, which are still the best looking in organized baseball.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Detroit has that going for it, and not much else. They have bigger problems than trying to preserve a baseball stadium.

Well, yeah, that and the best record in baseball.

I was thinking more about the city in general and not the team. Anyway I have a feeling that the Tigers are merely renting first place.

Welcome to the missing consonant thead.
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

Sad.  Paul Foytack beat the Washington Senators in my first game at Briggs Stadium, and my Dad taught me how to keep a scorecard there.  Still, the memories are much nicer than the current neighborhood.
