No indication of that either.  Matthew Pouliot, a fantasy commentator from rotoworld, made an interesting comment on Foxsports,  
"If Lidge is having any arm troubles, the Astros probably don't know about -- they wouldn't let him pitch four straight days if he was feeling any tenderness at all ..."

Agreed.  But, I thought this thread was dealing with fantasy; afterall my opinion doesn't mean squat to the Astros.

No, it doesn't.  But the possibility of injury has been suggested by observers on the sidelines.

trade him? after how he has started? oh, yeah, that is a great time to try that. "my closer who cannot get anyone out for your All Star. deal?"

they offered him around this winter, had him traded once and almost had him traded a second time. the team has him, so figure out how to fix him.

Agreed.  But there are many organizations in baseball that think they can fix anyone, so I think he still has value.  If the Stros send him down and he is not hurt, what will this do to his head.  I am suggesting that before I would send him down, I would trade him.

Where am I wrong?  It's ridiculous to think that any team with pre-season interest in Lidge still places any value in him whatsoever.  And it's highly unlikely that any team has formed interest in him based on his 2006 performance.

Of course he is, the Astros cannot just 'send him down to RR." That is just silly.

No options means he would have to clear waivers. Not going to happen.

You guys are making it sound like he caught his pitching hand in the wood chipper.  The guy has some problems that he'll likely work through in the near future.  Why on earth would you trade him now and get seriously reduced value for him, just so he can regain his form as one of the best closers in the game with someone else?  He looked great to me last night.
