I got a kick of of this:
 Barry Bonds hits 714

In case the URL gets removed, it's a piece about Barry Bonds hitting home run number 714.  Pretty much the whole thing is about steroids of course.

Not that writing an article about something happening prior to when it happens is unusual.  It's just funny to see it published.

The AP article isn't all that informative, but I don't understand why they want to wait until after 714 to "publish" it. It only makes one reference to 714:

It's a side reference and had little to do with the article, which seems to be same-old same-old. Looks to me like it's being held simply as page filler.
