Bass on Rocket

K. Bass made an interesting point on Roger and I wanted to get your thoughts.  He said that if Roger comes back, there might be a problem with his conditioning (possibly causing injury) since he has not been training his body this spring as he has done in the past.  Bass made a point that a persons body gets used to a certain regime and when this is not followed exactly the risk of injury goes up.  Any comments?

Considering he pitched in the WBC, considering he knows his body and how to preapre for a season, considering he's a physical perfectionist, I wouldn't worry about Roger not being conditioned properly.
You see pal, that's who I am, and you're nothing. Nice guy, I don't give a shit. Good father, fuck you. Go home and play with your kids. You wanna work here, close. You think this is abuse? You think this is abuse, you cocksucker? You can't take this, how can you take the abuse you get on a sit?

I think it's very safe to say that Roger will not take the mound until he is certain that he is physically prepared to pitch. His conditioning regimen is legendary, and I suspect that if he returns he'll spend a bit of time rehabbing in the minors as his own version of spring training. The last thing I worry about with a Clemens return is his conditioning.

Really?  That Coors Light fan of the game a while back said Clemens was the most out of shape player in baseball.  He seemed to know his stuff.

He knew it, but did he truly trust it?

I got Bass on Rocket
Got bottle, I'm gonna use it.
Intention
I feel inventive,
Gonna make you, make you, make you notice

Got motion, restrained emotion.
I been driving uh, New York leaning.
No reason, just seems so pleasing.
Gonna make you, make you, make you notice

Gonna use my arms,
Gonna use my legs,
Gonna use my style,
Gonna use my slide-step,
Gonna use my fingers.
Gonna use my, my, my, imagination.

Cause I going make you see-- there's nobody else here
No one like me.
I'm special, so special.
I got to have some of your attention, give it to me!

I got rhythm, I can't miss a beat.
I got-a new skank so reet.
Got something. I'm winking at you,
Gonna make you, make you notice.

Gonna use my arms,
Gonna use my legs,
Gonna use style,
Gonna use my slide-step
Gonna use my fingers, gon' use my my my imagination.

Oh .. cause I gonna make you see
there's nobody else here, no one like me.
I'm special, so special.
I got to have some of your attention, give it to me!

'Cause I gonna make you see
there's nobody else here, no one like me,
I'm special, so special.
I got to have some of your attention, give it to me.
Ooooooooo, when you walk.
