Anybody else hear...
« on: April 11, 2006, 05:49:14 pm »
the guy last night who called into the 10th inning show and asked why Morgan Ensberg was in the hospital emergency room?  This guy calls and claims he is in some hospital and watches Moberg come in and register.  Never heard anything else about it.

Normally I do not listen to anything Carl Dukes does, b/c he is such an idiot, but the radio was still on 740 from the game and I had just jumped in the car to go see my son's baseball game.  "The Duker" was telling the caller that it was a good thing that Lidge did not pitch today because he would be well rested for the series with San Fran, but Garner could have brought him in today if he wanted to.  WHAT???? So WHO gave up the dinger to Ward?

Budgirl and I could team up and do better.

I heard that guy on the drive home. However, while that does definitely sound like something Dookie would say, I think Tom Franklin was the one covering yesterday's post-game. Or was the comment about Lidge from the lockerroom/non-postgame?

I dunno.  I turned to another station. Didn't want to waste my time listening to callers that don't know anything and a host who didn't know Lidge pitched yesterday.

Morgan is a neurosurgeon in the ER after home games.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Either that or he slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night (is that the right hotel?).
Oh God, I wish I was a loofah!

That explains the precision with which he selects pitches to swing at.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Don't kid yourself, you two could do MUCH better.  I havent seen anything on Ensberg.  However I was perked up when he got his glove knocked off by a sharp grounder on Sunday.  The ball hit around the pad of his glove and could have got his wrist.  Wouldn't go to the emergency room for that though.
