Carlos - torn labrum, rotator cuff

Surgery scheduled for Wednesday.

Tough break - guy must be frustrated as hell.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Often wrong, but never in doubt.

One would think.

I remember his electric stuff....before the "adventure" at 2B. I thought he had the make-up and the stuff (mechanics, not so much) to be a great one.

Then, after essentially making it back to the Show as it looked like he would join the team later this month, this cruel piece of fate.

Alas, Carlos, for what could have been.
He breezed him, one more time!

I just did a quick Google search, trying to find pitchers who had come back from two shoulder surgeries and had success. Looks like Trevor Hoffman might be the most prominent example, but I'm a poor googler. Certain guys, like Matt Morris and Gil Meche, had both elbow and shoulder surgery...there must be other multi-shoulder op. guys.
