Question- is he serious about this stuff or is it an Al Yankovick type paraody thing?

If it is the latter then it is well done and funny I think (if you like that genre), but if it is the former and he's a "serious" musician/commentator with this stuff then that takes the comedy level of the gig to heights I can't imagine.

He's never posted to the TZ to my knowledge. He asked "Virtual Darryl" to post the Roger Clemens song over here when he wrote it, so I'm guessing he used to post at AD.

It got trashed, I said it sounded like monkeys being raped and Darryl started crying about it, and by proxy Chance (McLain, in case you were wondering, which you weren't) let us know that he had a "deal" and the Astros were going to be playing it often in MMPUS ana we were all just jealous.

sorta, but not really.

just had the busiest day of my job- and had total and complete computer meltdown. Cut like 100 checks that my accounting geeks told me are all going to bounce (fun stuff like people's mortgage payoffs and the like), can't reconcile my company books, will have everything wiped out monday morning that we did friday, meaning like groundhog day I get to redo friday all over again.

Figured beer and Chance McClaine at the office was the best way to handle the problem. When you are drinking a cold one and listening to something that goofy you can't wallow in self pity- I don't think its possible. Try it sometime.

Just hit me laying in bed this morning that I now probably don't get to go to opening day, as I will have 2 days worth of work to do monday and not be able to leave work by 4:30. Aaargh, now I'm mad.
