Brewers
« on: February 07, 2006, 06:01:22 pm »
Jerry Crasnick at espn.com thinks the Brewers will be the "surprise" team in the NL this season.  Prominently credited was former RR coach, Mike Maddux.  Though Crasnick cites Maddux's ability with young pitchers as a big plus, I'm thinking it's really those tingly massages he gives to aching hurlers on every mound visit.  "Oh, boy, here comes Coach Mike.  He'll make me feel all better."

I kind of like the Brewers and Ned Yost--they battle.  But most of all, I like that the Cubs finished staring straight up at Bernie Brewers big fat butt.

It's pretty easy, I think, to say the Brewers may surprise.  If they do well, and by well I mean actually contend into September, you're a genius.  If they don't, they're the Brewers.

If you are really bored, you can try  this.  It may not cure boredome but it will lull you into a trance like state!  Reminds me of Tetris back in the day....

I didn't have enough patience for this past 12 seconds, besides it hard to focus when your pouring up the beer.

You suck.  My productivity just bottomed out.

I can get in the 18s fairly consistently but then it speeds way the hell up.

Edit: Right after I put that I got 19.128

By the way, the person who gave this to me said it's similar to a program used to identify and train helicopter pilots in the military.  However, successful candidates have to survive over 2 minutes.  My personal best was about 20 seconds, which is supposed to be pretty good for your average person.  That makes Jacksonian a bit of a freak!
