You can supposedly email questions already if you want.

That is the email address for your Bagwell questions.  Probably need to indicate something in the subject.  The show that he will be on is called Stayin Hot, if you want to include that as well.

Question 1: Why did the Astros set a Jan 30th deadline for the insurance deadline?
Answer: The people who set the deadline, didn't know that the season doesn't start until after Spring Training. (according to his Agent)

Bagwell said he needs to play baseball to know if he can play baseball, he has to test himself, etc. before he can know either way.

Question 2: Did any Doctors tell him he was a long shot?
Answer 2: Yes.  He knows his shoulder is a bad shoulder.  Has since 2002.  With a painkiller and andrenaline he can make the plays in the games.

Training is not the same as playing in a game.  It is totally different.

Question 3: (summarized) This has no impact on you getting paid.
Answer 3: He will get paid, that is not the issue, and he has no issue with the team wanting to collect money if he cannot play.

Question 4: If the team gets the insurance or not, will it affect the Astros signing people?
Answer 4: No, The Astros have always spent the money when it was right to do so to help the team.  And Roger will get paid if he wants to play.

Question 5: In your dealings with the Astros, how would you explain your relationship with them over the years?
Answer 5: Good relationships through the years.  Loyalty has to come from both sides, but it helps to have been good too.

Question 6: What is the response from the Fans during this whole thing?
Answer 6: Response has been great, fans want him to be able to play.

I missed the rest (work pulled me away).

I will post the link to the interview tomorrow and you can listen to it then.
