A little inside info.......(Not baseball but Bagwell related
« on: January 09, 2006, 01:08:49 am »
Dr. James Andrews, the doctor here in Alabama that Bags has been seeing about his shoulder, suffered a serious heart attack today while working. According to close friends, the only thing that saved his life was the fact that he was at the hospital when it happened. If you are religious send up a prayer for Dr. Andrews. Dr. Andrews is a fine man and a brilliant doctor that has helped many athletes extend their careers.

Wow.  My prayers are with Dr. Andrews and his family.
Lighten up, Francis.

So does this mean that Dr. Andrews will be unable to take care of our First Baseman?  Does he have a partner?  Can he see Bags next week after his coranary by-pass or does all he need is a stent placed somewhere?  Can we get another orthopedic surgeon out of the yellow pages to take care of this problem right away? Is there at least one caring and skilled orthopod in Houston??

Get well soon Dr. Andrews, the Astros and their fans need you desperately!

He don't have partners but he has doctors in his organization that do the work as well as him. They learned it from him. He has a big set-up for rehab and things like that. Bags will be taken care of if Dr. Andrews and his staff are on it full time.

Of course Dr. Andrews and his friends and family have more concerns than his clients right now.
