Is Jeff Kent Mormon?
« on: December 08, 2005, 11:04:21 am »
I?m not usually into discussing players? personal lives, but Jeff Kent fascinates me. I?ve heard that he?s LDS. Does anyone else know if that?s true?

In a sense, Pravata always just finds things other people have put out there, but I don't know if he should get credit if he found it IN THIS THREAD.

Isn't Pettitte LDS?  Did I dream this?
Let me explain something to you. Um, I am not "Mr. Lebowski". You're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

You dreamed it. Pettitte is Baptist. I can't remember where he goes to church, but his father-in-law is pastor at Central Baptist Church in Deer Park.

Edit: He does go to Central Baptist.

Thanks.  Not sure where I got that.  I *KNEW* he was a devout something, and for some reason I thought it was Mormon.
