Padres dealt Mark Loretta to Boston for Doug Mirabelli, who they intend to use as a starting catcher.

Seems like a deal with Ausmus should be made soon.

I hope this doesn't mean they are NOT going too persue Hernandez. Even though he was offered arb from San Diego, they can't pay that much and...
