« on: October 24, 2005, 10:17:51 pm »
so i got a brand new kitten today..and it dissapeared and i couldnt find it for about an hour..and i look under the bed..and shes sitting in a black and silver astros hat i have under my bed, that i had no idea was there..heres the strange part..right next to the astros hat she was sitting in..is a white sox hat i had from when i was them in little league...i thought that this was the absolute weirdest thing i've ever seen..especially since i hadnt looked under my bed in forever..something you'll be able to tell by the picture i took..

While your cat is an Astros fan...my puppies (6 month old puppies) are starting to run and hide when I break out the Stros gear and the beer.

Including having a kitten stashed away under the bed?

Especially having anything whatsoever stashed under the bed, including a kitten.  Including a white sox hat from little league.

Wow. Y'all have it easy. Us wimmin folks at least have to work a LITTLE bit at the inherent smut.

Somebody here used to put an opposing team's hat in their litter box so the cat could shit all over it. I think it was either a Cubs or Reds hat. Who was that?

That would be even funnier if he then mailed it to a cubs/reds fan.

True story: my family got our cat in 1994.  He's all black, except he has white feet (sox).  We decided to name him Frank after the reigning AL MVP from the White Sox, Frank Thomas.

Frank hasn't been allowed to watch this WS with me.

How about Alyson (Footer)?  She is Astros-related and kind of has orange hair:

No, but the cat clearly feels at home wallowing in trash.

Cubs hat, after the Grilled Beef Fancy Feast that gives him the runs. I had to use tongs to get it out.

I think I may have a Sox hat.

I had a cat named Wags after Billy Wagner. I swear the cat was a lefty too. He loved watching the Astros games with me.
It's all part of the game.....

My girlfriend originally named her orange cat Lance, but when she found out it was a girl, she re-named her Morgan.

I'm afraid to ask how long it took for her to "discover" the cat's gender, and if it was more than a millisecond, why.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Our cat is named Orbit, at least partially for the mascot Junction Jack killed.

But it's hard to argue with that reasoning for Shaune.
