From his latest(?) column:

"The Chicago White Sox are the popular pick to win the World Series...The only problem with that prediction is that the people making them haven't seen what you've seen."

A Fucking Men.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

My favorite part (though this was good concidering the source):

Quote:

They were stars like Clemens, Pettitte and Oswalt, but they're also Eric Bruntlett, Everett and Brad Ausmus.

They probably don't win without those guys, either.

It's my estimation that every man ever got a statue made of 'em was one kinda sombitch or another.

The mention of Bidge taking Wagner deep reminds me: does anyone either have or know where I can find the Philly radio call of that homer?  610 played it a couple of days ago and it has got to be one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time.  They just sound so disgusted by the homer that it's an instant classic.

I was at that game.  Scalpers didn't give me anything so I ended up in the upper deck.  After the 8th inning, I moved down to the lower level so I could make a quick escape, drive back to DC, and get to work on time the next morning.

When Biggio hit his HR, I was on the concourse, right behind a handicapped section.  As I was going nuts, a Phillies fan in front of me got up out of his seat and started banging his cane against the railing as hard as he could.  I seriously thought I was going to be beaten up before I could reach my car.

Most dramatic game I've ever attended.
"Ground ball right side, they're not gonna be able to turn two OR ARE THEY, THROW, IS IN TIME!!! WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE TURN BY BRUNTLETT AND EVERETT, AND THEY CUT DOWN MABRY TO END THE GAME, AND THE ASTROS LEAD THIS NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES THREE GAMES TO ONE!!!!!"

Here  is a column from Justice tonight.  He makes his case for Jeffrey Robert Bagwell being the DH.  Not a bad job when you consider his usual shit.

Which One's Pink?

You were going to get beat up by a crippled guy with a cane?
The quality of my life would be greatly reduced if I did not have nostrils.
