How big was that bomb?

His swing has changed. I posted in the GZ that I noticed that he was not dragging his bat through the zone while I watched BP on Monday. He is extending his arms.

This makes him a huge threat, and really gives Ensberg some legitimate protection.

To me, one of the biggest hits in the series was his RBI in Game 3.   He had not had a base hit (seemingly) in years, and appeared to regain his confidence from that point forward.  Several hits, tonight's bomb, etc.

For what it's worth, my best friend from law school played with J-Lane in high school and says he's a hell of a guy.

To hit about .260 and 20 /25 bombs a year.  The WS thing too, if possible.

he has really upped his trad value.   Maybe we can package him and minor leaguer for a catcher with a higher OPS.  Mayabe Turdzilla has some suggestions?
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

The pop up that ended it went to J. Lane.  A visual forever etched on us all.

I'm not so sure that he didn't drag the bat, he just had more room to get extended.  He plays ugly baseball...until the ball clears the fence of course, then it's beeeyooootiful.
