Did anyone else try to buy tickets on Astros.com at 9 a.m.

... and find that LCS Games 3 and 4 were already sold out, except for scattered singles?

I figure if you get there at the opening gate there would at least be nosebleeds left. Unless the season ticket holders (or the scalpers) somehow nabbed them all up.

I tried and failed as well. I think that we'll have better luck tomorrow morning, which is the general release day for tickets.

I thought today was when they went on general sale. I got obstructed view Crawfords for Game 5.

I got an email yesterday morning informing me that I could buy tickets starting at 9 am yesterday.  I was lucky and got 2 tickets to the game on Sunday Oct. 16 in Sec 107 row 11.  I think the order in which people were allowed to buy tickets was:
1) season ticket holders
2) members of mlb.com on Monday Oct. 3 (now that I think about it it might have been members who bought the audio package for $19)
3) general public on Tuesday Oct. 4.

I fell into category 2.
Oh God, I wish I was a loofah!

Doh. I'm glad a got a couple tickets yesterday.

As far as Crawford Box obstructed view, I think all the seats in the Crawfords are "obstructed view" because you can't see left field at the base of the wall. It's not like there's a pillar right in front of you. I've only sat in the Crawfords a couple of times, so maybe someone with more experience can correct me. I also got "obstructed view" Crawford box seats, but they're in Row 6 so I assume that not being able to see the scoreboard, about 30 feet in front of it, and left-center where the Crawfords ends is the crux of the obstruction. They should still be good seats from the infield-play and atmospheric standpoints.

My experience of the Crawfords is that you cannot see anything in CF from the "triangle" to pretty much round to the Astros' bully.

That sounds about right. It should still be fun to be there, anyway.

It will be a blast.  And if things are going badly, you can always chin one of those truly annoying Landry's fucktards.

I tried at 9:00:01 and only singles were available. SRO's are available now for this weekend though.

Wouldn't seats behind the foul pole be considered "obstructed view"?

Most likely. My "obstructed view" seats are on the center field side of the boxes, so I think all Crawford Box seats come with that disclaimer.

Anyone aware of what the SRO policy is?

Like....  do they wait until all the single seats are sold before releasing those?

I can't go to game 4, but got game 5, section 407.

I think that presale internet thing threw it all off.
