Astros again 2-1

If you blinked you missed it.  Oswalt and Lieber whizzed through their work in a scant 2 hours and 11 minutes.  45 of those minutes were used watching Elvis escort "The One Who Got Away"'s triple down the left field line.

When I looked at the box score I was surprised that Oswalt had 13 baserunners.  At no time did I feel he was in trouble.  Masterful use of Ks.  In two nights the only runs that have been scored were on a homerun that nicked the foul pole and a dp.  I think they're going to have to win the lottery or discover a treasure map to score off Rocket.

Speaking of rockets, this magnificent pitching duel was bracketed by homers by two of the Astros hottest hitters.  Biggio, who looked wiped out in Washington, hit his first.  He's been around awhile, he's not so stupid as to hit the homer in the final atbat and have to face the pounding that Lamb did as he rounded third.
