The big blast was by Dr Who, a more unlikely candidate for a homerun, in a less likely place, you're not likely to find.  This was Bruntlett's second homerun of the season. When he hit his first one he was the last position player to hit a homerun this season.

But the big story was Wandy Rodriguez who pitched his best game as an Astro; now I know how all those other teams felt when playing the Astros early in the season.  And John Patterson, who is filthy.

Chad Qualls says that his pen mates have given him the nickname of Houdini for his work in the 8th.  Dot Wheeler also had his longest outing as an Astro; going 3 innings and establishing himself as either 2 or 2A in an increasingly effective Astro bullpen.

Humberto Quintero must also be mentioned, he spent his time on the DL wisely, picking up some blocking techniques from Brad Ausmus.
