2020 Hall of Fame

I predict Jeter gets in with 110% of the vote. He will also be the only one elected because he s in a class by himself.

Two of the five public HOF ballots so far have dropped everyone but Jeter.  The full retard is still strong with HOF voters.

If they really want to honor Jeter, they should make casting a really easy ballot look difficult.

Or make the ballot out of wood, to resemble the wooden statue that Jeter was for the last six to eight years of his career.

If you want to fill your entire being with hate and anger, please read this.
I was obviously kidding about the"class by himself" but this guy?!?!? He voted for Bonds, Clemens, Pettitte, Schilling, Ramirez, and Visquel in 2019 but this year he is leaving them off because of Jeter.

The icing on the stupid cake was that he thinks the HOF is watered down, but voted for Omar Vizquel.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Michael Jordan. Wayne Gretzky. Joe Montana. Derek Jeter... wait what? Derek Jeter? No no no. Jeter was great, worthy of the hall, but he is not 10% the baseball player that Michael Jordan was a basketball player, or Gretzky was at hockey, or Montana with football. This guy even took off Barry Bonds who, steroids or no steroids was the better baseball player than Jeter in nearly every way. The only thing Jeter has over Bonds, other than steroid suspicions, is that he played SS and made people think he was good at that. Jeter is probably the single most overrated athlete of my lifetime.

The media drools all over Jeter's postseason records while ignoring the fact that the modern 3 round postseason began in the 1990s.  The LCS started in 1969 and was a 5 game format for 16 seasons.

But sure,  get on your knees for the late 90s Yankees and their cumulative postseason stats.

THANK YOU.

Vizquel would be as bad as Baines.

I like how he had the Jeffrey Mier "home run" on the positive side of his postseason record seeing as how it should have been an out

Wayne Gretzky won the MVP award nine times.

Michael Jordan won the MVP award five times.

Joe Montana won the MVP award two times.

Derek Jeter finished in second place one time and in third place two times in MVP voting.

They are not remotely comparable.

Jeter brought thrills to routine plays like no other player. He added excitement where there was none. Therefore HOF.
He breezed him, one more time!

Exactly. Before Jeter, watching baseball was less fun than watching paint dry. He changed the game forever. God bless him for all he has given us.

Most of these writers could watch a sex tape of Jeter and their wife and say it was the most beautiful art they ever saw.

To be fair, the writers might be willing to make such an indecent proposal in hopes of receiving one of Jeter’s famous “post-date” gift baskets.
