Folrgive me if I'm engaging in Cabrera activity:

GG finalists include five Astros and three National players

Thank you!

Yuli's glove, among others, have been on display in this WS.

I'd think Yuli in the future will be talked about by the national media as an elite defensive first baseman, mostly because all the national media will have seen will be Yuli in the World Series. He is, but he always is.

Yep, his excellence is not new.

I se Yuli and think about the years we missed out on seeing him and other Cubans play in MLB.

That and what an unsung signing he was by the front office.

About the only thing you heard from the pundits was that Luhnow had overpaid.

Astros only signed him to get to his little brother.

I'm still upset we didn't get his little brother.

But I don't think that that is why we signed Yuli.

I knew your post was sarcastic.  But I'm still annoyed that we didn't get little Guriel as well.
Boom!

Of course he was. To think that Jim Crane would give him $46,000,000 in sort of a rush technique (pledge the okay brother to get the one you wanted) is fucking laughable.

Does the same argument apply (or not) to Preston Tucker?

How much did Tucker get? Regardless, these guys were drafted, not FA. Happy is completely correct on the Gurriels.
