Paxton
« on: October 19, 2019, 09:34:00 am »
My memory says he was always tough on us as a Seattle Mariner. We tried to trade for him, but NYY got him. I was not surprised he pitched well. I wanted badly to celebrate on their field, but to be honest, I never expected to win 2 of 3 in NY. I was hoping for one.

If the bats show up, we’ll be ok. If they do not, we may have a Game 7.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Baserunners galore but no paydirt.  But like Meatloaf said,  2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I like our chances if we keep putting guys on.  Almost every batter has seen the entire Yankees pen in high leverage spots.

Paxton was a stud last night for sure.  Talk about stepping up to the moment in a big way.  It was impressive, especially considering the Astros rattled him, and easily could have dinged his confidence, just a few days ago.
Lighten up, Francis.

If he can keep the eagle from landing on his back during the anthem, everything else is gravy.

Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy
