6-0 after one. Homers by Bregman, Alvarez, and Chirinos.

I missed the pre-game. Has anybody heard any news about Yuli and/or Correa?

Who? Don’t recall the name.

Altuve 2-run homer. Brantley solo. 9-0.

I surprised Fiers came in for batting practice.  What time does the game start?

The Astros have taken some very long batting practices the last couple days.

Hopefully Fiers' short outing will pay dividends for the Astros in the rest of the series, too.

astrojo says “someone fix Brantley”: two hits and a walkoff homer.

astrojo says “someone fix Alvarez”: 4-6, 6 RBI; 2 homers thus far

Who is doing the fixing? Good job, astrojo.

I think that was his best game as an Astro. I could get used to overwhelming pitching and vaunting offense.

Not taunting or bragging, just in awe.  Last 2 games:

36 runs on 39 hits vs. 1 run on 4 hits

9 BB, 10 Ks vs 1 BB, 27 Ks

46 baserunners vs 5

21 XBH vs 2

Over 9 innings b/t Sunday and Monday, the Stros outscored 26 of 32 NFL teams.

Roark has a been a really good pickup for the A's.  Miley needs to bring his A-game.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

After they turned a double-play to end the top of the 5th (I think), everybody was trotting off the field but Greinke kind of stood there looking around with a puzzled look on his face. Maybe he just lost track of the number of outs, but the look was as if he had just been teleported onto the field and didn't understand where he was.

After they turned a double-play to end the top of the 5th (I think), everybody was trotting off the field but Greinke kind of stood there looking around with a puzzled look on his face. Maybe he just lost track of the number of outs, but the look was as if he had just been teleported onto the field and didn't understand where he was.

Not used to an inning being over so soon. He threw 5 pitches or so? I noticed it too.

Here is another one: Fiers was among the hottest pitchers in all of MLB.

First loss in 21 starts for Fiers. The Astros should beat up on Seattle, Baltimore, etc. but Oakland is not chopped liver. I think that the Astros are in for a fight in the next three games.

I want more, of course, but a split is big for us.

Twins- 31

Giants- 20
Blue Jays- 15"
