Let's hope The Colonel has some effective innings in him for September.

I did not see him pitch his inning last Thursday, but I watched him warm up in the pen an inning or two before. I think he gave up a solo homer in the 9th. He throws well, and I am hoping Strom can get the best out of him.

What's the difference between being called up and being activated from the IL on 1 Sep?
Does the 1 Sep date not matter w/ the IL move?
Since Josh James was activated from the IL on 1 Sep, will he be eligible for the post-season roster?

PS: Once home field advantage has been determined, I am hoping Stubbs will get some playing time to give Chirinos some rest.

As far as postseason eligibility, anyone under contract before September 1 is eligible.

TY, Doyce7,
I was trying to speed read this article and it did not work.
Understand now that Straw, tho he has not yet been called up, is also eligible for postseason.
Much obliged.
