A single followed by a gapper at the wall for the Tribe, but lead runner is gunned down at the plate.  Score it 7-6-2 on the put out at the plate.

Runner on 2nd, 2 outs for Perez.

A thing of beauty.

Need to unload on this pitcher. He may have been good once, and might be in the future, but he’s trash tonight.

Yordan on 2nd after a double.  1 out.

Correa up 2-0, takes ball 3 for strike 1 (I guess it was close), then up/in for ball 3, then breaking ball is in for a strike; fouls off the first payoff pitch, K's swinging.

Yuli up.

Correa watches a cement mixer on the 3-1 pitch and winds up flailing at pitches out of the zone to ultimately strike out.

Yuli gets a 3-1 count, fouls off a pitch for 3-2, takes outside to walk.

1st/2nd, 2 outs for Reddick.

Josh takes inside 1-0, fouls off a high curveball 1-1, then flares one into left that's caught.

Many baserunners but only 2 runs thus far for the Astros.

Reddick, knowing the situation (one out man on third) judged the flight perfectly and sprinted over to get in position to make the catch and throw.

Yeah,  he's been OK. He's also had pretty bad stretches. And his stuff just always annoys and confuses me when we don't smack it around here and there.

Do they want Alvarez rather than Bregman?

Maybe, lefty on lefty.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it

The fair comment is to say he missed 2 HRs by a few degrees of launch because he definitely didn’t come up short on the power on either one

Rondon's kind of getting on my nerves.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

He must pitch better if he's going to make a possible playoff roster.

Behind to every hitter, still gets 2 quick outs, now loads the bases for Smith to face Puig. Don’t these guys realize they are pitching for their bullpen spots?  McHugh was horrible last night.

Reddick, knowing the situation (one out man on third) judged the flight perfectly and sprinted over to get in position to make the catch and throw.

Puig did not slide at home.

Another series win against a surging team.

Events of the week have put things in an exciting light, but there's still work to be done to get bullpen preforming well and some hitters to get back to peak form.

Long way to go.

So nice to have an arm like Correa at short

Nice short hop pickup by Maldonado for the tag. So great to have him back on the team.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Thankful that he made the play  unscathed.

It was an excellent part of that play that wasn’t talked about enough.
