Well, that is the negative way to look at it.

The decision not to force Bregman at 2nd was curious, and it definitely led to the 2nd run.

I think just hope - I hope like hell he resigns too, but think they will trade for someone with club control and let him walk. He will command a ridiculous contract (and rightly so).

I don't blame the umps for not reviewing it- there was no attempt for a throw to first- but Joe Fucking Torre should at least fine Muñoz.  He easily could have popped a knee ligament or torn a groin on Carlos.

B 8th
Card announcers saw Munoz sliding into Carlos' leg rather than the bag, figuring a called DP rather than a FO.
On the DP that follows, they describe Carlo's laser throw as an "angry" throw!

What I find most interesting about that slide into Correa (and not the base) is that on Yadier Molina’s now deleted Instagram post regarding Marisnick/Lucroy play that all the Astros players commented defending their teammate, Yadi told Correa they might just dirty slide into him or other Astro and see how they like it.  With the way they got tangled he could have fallen right on top of Correa’s rib cage! BS non call by the umps when he was clearly not sliding to the bag.
