Reed is batting cleanup today for the White Sox.  He had a pinch hit home run yesterday and is now batting .294.

How did we let this guy go?  For nothing!!!

On a related note... I just realized what a nice year J.D. Davis is having for the Mets -- hitting .297/.366/.483 in 259 AB for the Mets.

Yeah, I saw his stats yesterday and was impressed. HH always thought he would hit and he was right. He has been somewhat of a defensive liability however. I think ultimately, JD is a DH.

White Sox are giving Reed a chance but he hasn't made much of it yet. Hitting .136 with 21 SOs in 49PAs. He might be better if he dropped a half of an Altuve. Wonder if he will still be around when the Astros play the White Sox next week.
