That was nice.

Jake and Straw can cover a lot of ground.

Piscotty robs Chirinos then goes yard.

1-0 A's after 2.

Reddick just devours left handed pitching.
He breezed him, one more time!

So Olson (1B) either didn't see it or thought 2B would get there; instead it plopped down behind him.

Anderson (P) reacts by yelling and squatting.  After allowing another hit he ends the inning and walks off the field yelling into his glove.

Reminds me of Lance's start in Cleveland last year when Altuve dressed him down for reacting to Yuli's error.

Olson stopped so suddenly that he must have thought he heard someone calling it.

Ball down the RF line gets just under Reddick's glove.  Ruled foul.  A's challenge and lose.

It was real close.

Melvin is hot about it.  Discussed it but didn't get tossed.

I wish Melvin would've gone over and demanded to talk to NY on the headsets.

I understand being frustrated, but yelling at the guy that delivered the call from NY makes very little sense.

I think it was foul by about .05 millimeters. But there wasn't a perfect replay down the line because Oakland is a dump.

He limped ever so slightly going over toward first on that grounder.

He looks like someone ate all his Halloween candy.

I thought I saw him grabbing at his right side below the ribs. Is that where the candy goes? Asking for a friend.

Verlander cruises through the bottom of the 6th. 2 K’s and a fly out.

He is Nolan Ryan.

And now Verlander moves past Cy Young into 21st in career strikeouts.

Cy still has a slim lead in career wins.

2 on,  2 out.

My love of baseball was formed as a kid watching a couple of Ryan starts in Houston at the Dome with my Dad. This is the closest thing I’ve seen to that since.

Harris rolled his right ankle on the follow thru.

He's staying in.

We'll have to wait until postgame to know whether it's discomfort.

5-1 is the final score.

Another series win.

The game was tight until the 9th.  Verlander was great.

There was some pretty decent defense tonight.

Also, Chirinos was fucking smoking balls all over the yard all night long.

We are so fortunate to watch Verlander defy Father Time on his way to Cooperstown.
