Well that didn’t take long
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Schwarber is terrible out there, even accounting for his lack of familiarity with MMPUS.

Not when it’s on the ground behind you.  White made the right break. He’s just dragging a bass boat behind him.

From Twitter.  A guy in the section when asked where the kid, who he said was no older than a year,  was hit

“I don’t know. Father held her up and she was limp, head was falling backward. She finally started screaming when her father got her to the top of the stairs”

Fucking scary.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

While his stats are fairly impressive, his ERA is not a great reason to take center cut fastballs for strike one.

What infielders do the Astros have in the Green Grass League?

This is foresight. Leave your infant at home.

Honest question: did you not bring your kids to baseball games when they were four or five years old?

I have certainly brought my young fella, but I’m selective about my seat location and wouldn’t sit close to the action down the lines beyond the net.

This is also acceptable. Sitting where a popup might find you is one thing, but sitting down a baseline with a young child is just asking for something awful to happen.

Hell, I don't sit down there when it's just me. The ball gets on you fast, and I've seen enough people get clocked. And even if you think you've got everything lined up, there's always the chance that somebody else will deflect the ball and fuck you up that way.

And, often, your kids are the ones who divert your attention from the game and thus protecting them from sharply hit foul balls, compounding the risk of the situation.

Looked to me like Bregman was waiting for White to “run” back to first.

In hindsight/foresight I’d rather not have Tyler White on this team anymore. I’ve liked him in the past too.

Not to take anything away from Hendrix’s performance, but the Astros sure looked gutless on several 88-90mph “fastballs” right down the middle.  As if today’s news wasn’t depressing enough, they failed to sweep for the 3rd time in completely winnable games.

At this point you have to start wondering if White has compromising information on Luhnow.

It’s one thing to keep him on a roster with a healthy Altuve Springer and Correa, but with all the injuries they can’t afford to keep his massive dead wait afloat.

This is so true. They guys who are left standing and Luhnow must do something to replace the lost run production. I do know know what has happened to White, but he cannot handle the fastball this year.

At this point you have to start wondering if White has compromising information on Luhnow.

It’s one thing to keep him on a roster with a healthy Altuve Springer and Correa, but with all the injuries they can’t afford to keep his massive dead wait afloat.
If he's not gone June 1 or 2....
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"
