have the scrubs fans become the new brave fans take over

lot of cub blue and they really got loud in the 9th.  I remember the old days of going to the sell outs when the Astros played the braves and there were probably more brave fans than Astros fans.  Not to that point today but a massive showing any how.

My nephew is a huge Cubs fan.  During the 2003 playoffs, he flew from MS to attend a Cubs-Marlins game in Miami.  We experienced the impact of Cubs fans at the game.

Late in the game, with the Marlins ahead, a rumble started down the LF line: "Boom!  Boom!  Boom!"  By the time it reached us, we could hear it - and feel it: "Let's go, Cubs!"  It went on forever, and circled the stadium.  Quite a surprise, in enemy territory!  On script, the Cubbies rallied and won the game.

The range of WGN (720 AM) has produced a host of Cubs fans around the country over the years.  When they aren't playing the Astros, I pull for them.

Isn't it fun to see growing numbers of Astros fans in enemy territory.

Nothing worthwhile comes without pain, ask any Astros fan.

Cubs fans are just irritating. They irritate me way more than braces fans ever did.  At least the braves won.

But there were an equal number of them at the game today. The third through seventh innings weren't bad.  But Astros fans did a pretty good job of drowning out some of the chants.

Ford and Sparks both said during the radio broadcast yesterday how surprised they were to see so many Cubs fans in Houston.

I was surprised that they were surprised.

A friend and I play a game called find the Cubs fan. It works like this, go to a game, bar or other activity with lots of people around. Whoever identifies the most Cubs fans(hat, shirt, Jersey whatever) wins.

If you were to replace 'identifies' with 'insults' then I think there might actually be a victory to be claimed.

The last time I was in MMP during a Cubs series, they had to bring me oxygen because I didn't have enough time to breathe in between insults.
