Moncada hits a slow grounder to short, but Correa's strong throw barely gets him.

Valdez bringing the fastball at 96 mph in that inning. I don't rmeember that before.

Giolito was the MLB number one pitching prospect in 2016. He looked like that tonight. He's been good all year. I think it was his third start that he stunk up but otherwise has had all quality performances

Bullpen was fantastic. Valdez, James, Devo pitched well and gave us a chance. Giolito had other ideas though.

He’s always had good stuff, but he’s had problems throwing strikes. I think he was the worst in the league last year at it. But he seems to have corrected that this year. He was a zone pounding machine last night. And the Astros laid off of a lot of really hittable pitches.

He has been excellent lately. He completely revamped his throwing motion, and it paid off big time.

I noticed he’s short arming now, almost like a catcher. While that probably helps with control, I wonder if that will add more wear and tear on his arm over time.
