That catcher seemed to be in a weird spot for that throw.
Why on earth would hpu widen the strike zone for that first pitch to Josh? Pity?
Umpires hate Josh.
Nelson missed a couple there. Got Corbin shaking his head on that last one
Is he nibbling or has he lost command?
His is that not a foul tip?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How is that not a foul tip? Weird playSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Had to throw so many damn extra pitches after he stuck out Moreland.
Looked like it.
A foul tip is caught by the catcher. The ball didn't hit the bat.
Yes, thank you for your precision. My comment was meant to indicate I thought that the ball barely hit the bat which caused it to change planes and for stassi to miss it. The video seemed inconclusive.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How was that not an error?
It is confusing. Seems like a no-brainer error to me.
Nice bounce back inning for Martin.
Jake really struggles with breaking balls.
Stop the presses. Replay favors the Astros (correctly).
Personally, I hated Fenway.
Bogaerts is safe, but White saved a run there. For now
Hate seems a bit strong. Why? Did you pay top dollar and end up behind a pole with a guy named Sully slamming Sammys in between hitting on you and talking about how Papi was a pure great unlike that cheater A-roid? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ryan Webber looks like he's about 14 years old.
I liked Fenway. People there were great.
Brantley unleashes the cannon. Yuli may not have tagged him... no challenge.
That seemed worthy of a challenge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is where I totally disagree. Yankee fans were nice.
Can't believe the Sox didn't challenge that. It was a terrible tag by Yuli, and I thought he was safe.
New Yankee or old Yankee? Seats are so expensive at New Yankee that it has priced out many of the characters, but the bleachers in the old days were a little edgy, and I liked it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last year of old Yankee.
Has there been an explanation yet why the teams are wearing cammo a week before Memorial Day? Trade war? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Another close play. Very close. And very similar to the overturned call.
Even with the strike zone box, Buck cant tell when a pitch is out of the zone. He also had some thought orca was going first to third.
It's a good play. Joe buck is making smoltz stupid.
“Catches the outside corner” on slider 3 inches outside of the k zone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He also quipped? complained? About being "parachuted" in to the series so he hasn't seen the teams much. It's really too bad that one of the "premier" announcers in the game hates baseball.
James? I was thinking it would be McHugh.
Corbin's mom not impressed with Jeff Nelson.
I don't think Jeff Nelson's mom would be impressed with his zone tonight.
Rules question. So, on Correa’s dribbler up the line his bat flew out there just as far as the ball and came to rest near the foul line. What is the rule if the ball had started to roll foul but hit the bat and stayed fair??Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If the umpire judges it unintentional, it's a live ball. If he intentionally throws the bat and it hits a fair ball, batter is out, ball is dead and no runner advance.
Who was at second? Marisnick?
Bregman has left a lot of guys on.
Y’all ok with that call?
His second AB tonight with the bases loaded. First one was a weak grounder. Then that shallow fly.
That was not a strike.
I have busted Harris' balls in the past but has been nails this year.
That's two winning streaks of >/= 10 and it's May.
No idea, but that reminds me of this goofy article investigating whether hitters strategically drop their bats to get in the way of throws to the plate.
Let's sweep these piss-ants tomorrow.
Glad we won the first two before Sale.
Softball smack. Pretty sure I've never heard that on a broadcast before. I can't help it, White continues to remind me of Mark R. Maybe if softball doesn't work out for him he can turn to roller hockey.
Floorball! Not Roller Hockey! Nobody wants to see me on any form of skates.
Gotta love Sam Miller. He's an odd bird sometimes but he is a fun writer Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
