After he returned last season,  Correa played a decent level of shortstop.

But this year,  with a healthy back,  he's so much better.   That throw to complete the dp was sizzling.

Leadoff walk,  dp, then 3 consecutive hits (E5 initially,  we'll see if it stands), then a walk.

Shitty.

I thought he missed his pitch on the 2-2 fastball down Main Street, and he still came through.

Damned good relay.

It was a good relay, but still, the ball was in the air all the way to the fence and there were two outs. I don't understand how he's only just rounding third as that relay is coming to the cut-off man.

James gives up a 1 out double then walks the next batter.

I'm developing a tic with some of these pitchers.

A good first baseman digs that out at a high percentage.

Maybe I'm being too tough on Tyler there.

The Twins lineup is pretty good.
Yes, it is and just think how good they will be if Sano is able to return even close to form in a few weeks.

I keep dreaming of what it would have been like if we had Cruz as our DH.......

7th inning version of Josh James looked good.

Is he dialing back the velocity by design?

FB is consistently around 96.

White is out of options,  correct?
Yes, but that shouldn’t matter. Trade him please.

Sure. 20+ clubs are lining up to deal top prospects or high quality LHPs for him. Just choose the best one.

Should have dealt him in the offseason.  His value was probably "decent" at that point.

That's twice Bregman could have been rung up (and would have been any other night).

But tonight that was a ball and he eventually walked.

I doubt White lit anyone's fire even with his production in the second half.

The Twins successfully attacked Peacock's first pitch, get over, fastballs and murdered him.

The Astros are down 0-2 without taking the bats off their shoulders in 75 percent of their at bats at least tonight.

It's fucking infuriating.

Correa got hold of that one.

Now let's see if the pitching can avoid giving any of it back.

White walks.

He's actually had a decent night at the platet.

2 hits and a walk, including a shot to the wall.

I'm 99% sure he did the same thing late in a game earlier this year and popped up the bunt to the 3Bman
