Where did he get hit?
Why did this game start early?
Ding Dong!!
When someone asks me why I don't want to catch, I show them videos like that Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Was it not obvious?
Not from behind home plate.
Worst. Feeling. Ever.
Swing the fucking bat!!!
Correa kind of swung there.
Don’t recall too many “0” s on a jersey.
AL Oliver famously wore it back in the day.
Correa's game winner was hit at 28 MPH Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
What a way to start the series. W in the books.
My "semi" concern from last nights game is Verlander. I really didn't think he'd make six innings the way the game was going. He battled and made it but it wasn't what I was expecting after the Rangers game.
I get the concern, but he wasn't really getting hit hard IMO, he was just off mechanically and therefore inefficient with a lot of non-competitive pitches. I'm assuming he'll find his groove.
JV didn't seem too concerned about his performance in the post-game. Just something to work out.
Pitchers never are.
Didn't understand why Hinch didn't have Kemp run for White in the 7th.
Don't you lose the DH spot if you do that?
Pretty sure that if you pinch-run for the DH, the pinch-runner simply becomes the DH. Just like pinch-hitting for him.You lose the DH when the DH is moved to a defensive position.
JV is a student of his profession. He'll zero in on it. I enjoyed Tyler White's attempt to slide and slap the plate. He popped up like a weeble wobble.
Or anyone else for that matter. What did people expect him to say "boy, I suck...I'm really worried that I no long have the skills to play at this level"? I'm not sure I'd want the guy who doesn't say "I'm confident I'll pitch better next time out".
We all wanted him. He's in Tampa now.
