Whose House?
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

UCF's house.

This site is not a safe place to taunt the BBGs or their cousins the other BBGs. I should have know better by now. I'm so bummed out.

UCF out Coog'd the Coogs:  played lockdown defense and outrebounded them.  UH missed way too many FTs and open 3's.

Upcoming Cincy game is huge.

That UCF center is ridiculously gigantic.

Yeah, didn't block a shot but effectively shut off the paint.  He and Smith the PF went from complete non-factors (13-7 in 30mins, combined) in the first matchup to dominating this one (34-17 in 64 mins).

Well, I hate to say this, but it looks very bad for LSU basketball coach Will Wade. I was told by friend who also is a division 1 basketball coach that Wade was a cheater a good while ago, but I didn’t want to believe it. It’s a damn shame.

He's on tape as much as admitting that he's done multiple deals for players. He has to be a goner if the administration has any integrity.

I just wonder how many coaches have done the same thing but were smart enough not to discuss it on a telephone.

Oh, he's a goner for sure. LSU President is a hard ass.

Coogs and Cincy are currently engaged in one of the more physical basketball games you'll see.

eta:  and the Coogs proceeded to just blow them off the floor the last 12 minutes or so.  Coogs hadn't won an outright conference championship since 1984 (shared one in '92).

Cincy gets another shot against the Coogs tomorrow in the AAC tourney championship game. It will be a real slobber-knocker. Always hear about how  it's tough to beat a team three times in a season. I love watching the Cougars play but I hate watching them shoot free throws.

The same could be said about watching any college or professional teams shoot free throws. It's like they've forgotten the meaning of free. They go tothe line with no plan, no routine, and really no chance to make more than about 65% of the free throws. Good teams shoot at least 70-75% from the line.

The worst free throw shooting team in the NBA is about 70%.  The top third of teams are around 80% or above.  Most college teams also shoot around 72-75%.  Houston, who is not good and ranked 179th in the nation in free throw shooting, shoots 70.4%.  You have to go all the way down to the 331st ranked team to find one that shoots at 65% or less.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.
