In other stadium news within the division, Rangers still working on that whole turf vs grass thing (though some of the reporting says turf is likely to win out) but it's believed the new park will be more pitcher friendly than Globe Life.

If that ever comes to fruition I would probably move it to the top of my "ballparks to see" list. Looks very cool.

I wonder what it'll look like with a batter's eye.

Anything would be more pitcher friendly than their current park.

And it's hilarious to me that FTR will be playing on artificial turf while the Astros are on grass.

That Oakland park looks sweet.

Still looks an awful lot like another stadium in Texas...

Apparently this is what the A's are thinking for a new downtown ballpark. It is a little different. https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/matier-ross/article/A-s-propose-jewel-box-ballpark-for-13426272.php?utm_campaign=twitter-premium&utm_source=CMS%20Sharing%20Button&utm_medium=social

Love this.  And, it's the right size for the fan base they have.  A well constructed revitalization plan, where local citizens are included at the ideation phase, can transform an area.  The SW Waterfront here in DC is a sight to behold and has become a massive economic engine for the District.
Another trenchant comment by a jealous lesser intellect.

Absolutely love parks like this!

Pittsburgh did themselves some justice with there new one a few years ago
Houston's juice box is phenomenal
Baltimore's field and complex is pretty cool

Would not mind seeing some others adopt a more local feel --- like KC, Chisox, etc..

I have the Rays' new park designed in my head.  It's fucking gorgeous....red brick street, classic Tampa Moorish Revival architecture.  But they're going to try to out clown that 3-ring circus down in Miami.  Sad.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Pittsburg's PNC is on my bucket list. The park on Chicago's southside I have no interest in partaking. I've been to Camden but not when a game was going on.

Sorry it was confusing --- I was trying to say I wish KC and Chisox was more like Pittsburgh et al.

Agree with you 100 % --  Love Hudson's Idea for Old Florida TB Park --- instead of the Disneyization of b-ball culture.

Surprised Milwaukee did not go even more into the "Beer Garden" theme --- Imagine the park having its own Brew Village --- everyone would be drunk including the toddlers.

PNC is really awesome.  That's all I have to contribute here.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

Your post was not confusing. I completely understood and appreciate your sentiment.

Portland has stadium plans too, kinda. Now they just need an MLB team to go with it.

They may have trouble attracting someone.

Incredible if they can pull it off --- who would move?

Chicago White Sox move to Portland?   --- and does that mean the Stros move to the AL Central?

Unless there is going to be two more expansion franchises.

They should go ahead and build it.  I mean, that worked out well for Tampa.

Tampa just shrugged their shoulders and watched the lunacy.

That was my favorite.  Even more so than the Gondola Suite.
