Verlander sharp thru first 2 innings (5 Ks)

Springer infield single,  Altuve single thru the right side moved him over,  Bregman gidp brought him in.

Bottom 2 coming up.

Correa singles to CF.

Josh promptly singles to right and deftly eliminates the gidp possibility by running into an out at 2nd.

I got excited when I saw the listing for the game on TBS. So I changed the channel to TBS.

But I can't see the game on TBS. "This game is not currently being broadcast due to league requirements blah blah blah blah."

Argh.

Also that turn by the AZ middle infield was amazing.

For those that missed it,  The throw was cut off at short and redirected to the bag at second.

Josh wasn't even in the TV frame.

Dammit.

Kemp.  Kemp.  Kemp.

The only reason I keep doing that is that they're banned Tony.

The only reason.   Certainly no other similarities.

I'm encouraged by what Altuve has done this series.

He's turned on some and he's got some to right.

Bases loaded, two out, 3-2 count, and White steps out & blows a bubble with his gum.
Didn't get a hit this time, but got the 2nd run in w/ a 2B earlier.
Gotta do something to let off steam.

Good one!
Been mixing it up today, missed their description.
As opposing announcers introduce the Astros and how they play , I often learn something.
It is a "scouting" report.

I have a higher standard for major league baseball players. I would have scored that as two errors.

Big, big  weekend.

Best thing besides the wins/A's losses was seeing Altuve,  Springer,  and Yuli make some solid contact.

This offensive engine doesn't need all 9 cylinders firing.   If 3-4 can get going on a reasonably consistent basis runs will follow.
