Kudos to you for believing in Tyler White through it all. He has justified your faith big time.

I was at Yankee Stadium the first 3 games of the 2016 season when Tyler White absolutely exploded.  I saw his first ML home run.  I think I’ve been a White fan ever since.  And I love his story.  He’s a 33rd round draft pick.  He was never a highly regarded prospect.  He just hit at every level.   He’s a little chunky.  It’s easy to root for a guy like that.
Boom!

Tyler White since his call-up on July 29: .345/.400/.713. He has three home runs in his last six games.

Funny that with all the wunderkinds that have been called up,  White and Kemp have stuck.

The others will hopefully have their day.  But thank goodness TK and TW have done what they've done.

Which wunderkinds are you thinking of? Obviously Fisher has laid an egg.

Fisher,  JD Davis,  Tucker.

The last 2 probably just need more time.

I might also include Reed and on the pitching side Martes and Paulino.

Reed...

Reed has led the PCL in HRs the past two seasons.

It's so disappointing that he tanked when he was called up in 2016.  And he's basically gotten no further chance with the major league team over the past two seasons.  Guy needs to be traded to another organization.
Boom!

Check out how many major league at-bats each had before they took off.  IIRC it was somewhere around 200.  It may take at least that many for some of the others who might be expected to be better major league hitters.

That's exactly what I'm hoping.

Add Reed to that list.

I believe Martes and Paulino have both been hurt this year. Martes had TJ so don't expect anything from him next year either.

Both show much promise in 2017 but we’re hurt this year.

I did too. He had been hurt before the trade, and Martes had TJ.
