When I was in Colorado this summer the ATT app wouldn't let me watch the Astros because I wasn't in the home broadcast region or something.

I would have thought the MLB game of the day would be immune to that though.

You realize this team is 30 games over 500 right? Tonight was a big game and a bad loss. Yesterday was a big game and a good win. The other team are professional baseball players too right?

I agree 100% with doyce and with you. Today is important, but this one game will not decide the season. The As have a hard stretch of games. Last night was tough, and we blew a chance to take the lead twice with our best hitters up. We ran ourselves out of a great situation in the bottom of the 8th. Walk and shiftfuck in the 9th. These are two really good teams, and there are lots of games to go.

Doom and gloom folks have no place in a tight pennant race. They need a double digit lead.

What matters is finishing ahead of the other teams, not necessarily some arbitrary number of wins or games above .500. Right now the Astros are in a fight and every game matters. This is August 29th, not May 5th. There is not a "long season" left. It's a sprint now. Any stumble is magnified.
