The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

There is an Astros career leaderboard, at the top of which is...wait for it...Derek Bell.  Fewest games to reach 100 hits in a season.

After two quick outs, Rays load the bases on a double, walk, and HBP...

The last time Correa drove in a run at home?  June 1st.

B6:

Springer...0-2...crushes a homer to deep LCF...over that gas tank thing...
Bregman homers to LF
Altuve...takes a pitch in his eyes for strike one...homers to LF
Correa flies out to shallow CF on the first pitch
Gurriel grounds out 4-3
Reddick lines out to 2B

4-1 Astros
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Peacock in

Gomez lines out to SS on the first pitch
Field strikes out swinging
Kiermaier dribbles one up the 1B line, Peacock over to grab it and flip to Yuli for the 1-3

At the stretch...Astros lead 4-1

The last time Correa drove in a run at home?  June 1st.

I was going to guess 2007.

Pruitt in for the Rays

Gattis hits one 900 feet high, 100 feet behind 1B, and it drops as Gattis ends up at 2B on the bloop double
McCann grounds out 3U, Gattis to 3B
Kemp...infield in...singles to RF, Gattis scores...for some unknown reason Kemp dances around between 1B and 2B and is out 9-4-3 being an idiot on the base path
Springer...full count...walks
Bregman lines one deep to RCF, but Kiermaier is there

5-1 Astros

No shit.  Last series it was Gordon, now Kiermaier.  Why can't every team have Joey Gallo in their outfield.

Slightly shocked to arrive and find that nobody has mentioned that this umpire is calling the very top of the letters a strike.

He called a strike on Altuve in his last AB that was about chin high.

Haha, I just went back and saw it. I was reading through, then went to make some food around the time the back to back to back happened, and just scrolled to the end to post. Literally the one pbp post I didn't read.

I found the moment and showed it to my wife who was on the phone and distracted yet she knew immediately who it was.

When you think about it, quite a number of us idiots have appeared on broadcasts over the years in one way or another.
