We join this game already in progress.

Royals get 2 runs on a 2-out double from Moustakis in the 3rd.

Astros looking for their first baserunner.

Astros first base runner makes it 2-1

Smacked it good.

Altuve knows he should have murdered that 3-2 pitch.

Seems Correa was avoiding inside pitches earlier in the season.  Lately he's been treating them very rudely.

That throw from Correa after fielding the high chop to end the inning was a LASER.

Morton Ks 2, then Correa fields a HIGH hop and delivers a laser to first to get the 3rd out.

End 4, tied 2-2.

McTaggart tweeted that was the second hardest hit HR of CC's career.

Had a 113 mph'er in 2016.

Astros leave Marwin (walk) and Kemp (single) when Springer Ks.

Mid 5, still tied at 2.

The highest I’ve seen him clocked is 96 mph—which is also the fastest infielder throw ever tracked by statcast—and it wouldn’t surprise me if that also had a niner on it.

Walk #2 was a K.

Not a mess either. He is barely missing. Bregman booted the “single.”

Missing is still missing. Walking the 9 hitter (twice now) and not being able to throw a strike when you have to is a mess in my book.

Morton was a mess last time. This time he is just missing, and if Bregman hadn't screwed up this would still be a tie game. I think Morton is doing fine.

The only lousy aspect of that is that a friend of mine has Gattis in another fantasy league, and he's been killing it for the last couple of weeks.

It's obvious KC doesn't watch the Astros broadcast.   That hit zone graphic at the start of the AB was prescient.

I hit two home runs in a game as a kid in a pony league tourney game and the second was a walkoff. I’ll never forget it. I had no business hitting the walkoff and the catcher let me know that as I stood there before the pitch. Pitcher had a wicked sidearm delivery and I don’t think I’d even ever seen that before at that point.

Charlie looked good overall.

9 Ks, several half swings.  Hung a curve on the Moustakis rbi double, scuffled after the error.

But he had good velocity on the FB and the curve looked nasty most of the night.

Peacock has looked good his last few times out.

On a similar note,  as a freshman I was entrusted with keeping score because I was the only scrub who was smart enough to do so.

I became the backup QB earlier that year because I was the only one (besides the starter) who could remember the plays.

I played football in junior high and our QB would routinely call a play in the huddle then come up to the line and ask the center what play was called.  He was later a 4th round draft pick of the St Louis Cardinals.

In Fun Football I was delegated to be the center because I was deemed most likely to remember the snap count. For those of you who do not know me personally, I do not have a prototypical offensive lineman's build.

I never pitched a no-hitter even during the year I peaked. I was 14. Came within a whisker of one twice, once that year and once in HS.

I once came within a strike of a no-hitter in high school. Had the guy 0-2 with 2 outs in the 7th, he singled on the 13th pitch of the at bat. I've never been more frustrated in my life than watching that guy foul off pitch after pitch. Tip of the cap for battling and eventually winning, but fuck that guy

Exactly. When a team is winning a ton of 1 run games the way they are, it's usually a sign that regression is coming. I just don't know how much regression that would be, cant take away the games they've already won
