For those who missed it,  A-Rod hopes Robinson Cano learns a great lesson from his suspension.

They are deeper than GSW, but the role players have to make that depth matter.   Make open 3s, move the ball,  make layups to complement Harden.

So yes,  another win.

But not another 3 wins.

I think they'll win two. If they win one of these in California they might win three.

Of course I don't watch the games and have no real basis for my opinions. Which I guess means I should immediately share them on Twitter.

I'd rather have her in a 2- announcer booth.

But ESPN has never dedicated their baseball coverage entirely to the game at hand.

Does anybody really believe that the Rockets are going to win more than the one they already have? I sure don't.

I am sure they won't win when they use the game plan that has Harden walking the ball up the court and holding for  > 15 seconds each possession.  Push it up and move the ball worked in game 2  and I don't know why they reverted to the unsuccessful game 1 plan?  And of course there is the recurring defensive rotation problem...

Something along the lines of Junot Diaz slang about sexual misconduct without the actual propensity for sexual misconduct.

I was wondering how this would come up. You know, it would not surprise me one bit if the abuse he described as inflicted on him were wholly invented.

Mainly I just wonder why the fuck guys can't keep from harassing and abusing women. In my own experience it's really not that difficult. Which reminds me, Diaz's statement in the wake of the accusations ended with something along the lines of, We have to teach men about consent and boundaries. Uhh, no, motherfucker, we need to teach YOU about consent and boundaries. Don't bring me into this you fucking dickface.

It still blows my mind that almost every position player on the team has taken a step backward this year, while at/near their primes and healthy.

They've all also had hot stretches.

When Altuve's average dropped 40 points he was still above .300.

There should be a mercy/incompetence rule in the playoffs: you lose by 30+ points in a game, and that round is over.
Oh fuck that shit.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

These ESPN broadcasts are just horrid.

Whoever decided baseball needs three people in a booth is a moron. Late in his career Scully worked alone but I wouldn't recommend that for many. I was on vacation last week and could only get Astros baseball on  satellite radio and I decided I am really missing out by not listening to Ford/Sparks. They are terrific. I am growing less interested in hearing Blum and Kalas, especially Kalas. Add Bagwell to the mix and it becomes a monthly tribute to Bagwell. And its' not his fault.

Mendoza's greatest contribution to the broadcast was calling out Vasgursian and pointing out what an incredibly stupid statement it was when he said the Luhnow-era Astros had not missed on any of their overall No. 1 draft picks.

After last nights' game McCullers has the lowest MMP ERA among Houston pitchers with at least 175 IP at 2.30.  Clemens and Oswalt come in next at 2.55. I never would have guessed that.

The development of his change this year has been huge.  He already had dominant skills, but this addition has taken him to a new level.  Knock on wood about his health.

Ford and Sparks are really good, Kalas and Blum are much better than Ashby and Blum. I like Kalas' sonic qualities and think he does well at calling the action on the field, but his banter between calls is pedestrian and clichéd (Not just Kalas, it's a problem that permeates sports announcing). I don't need personality, I want play by play, the game is the show.

I like Kalas.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.
