At one point the pbp guy said Carrasco was matching him pitch for pitch. That was crap. Carrasco wiggled off the hook a few times early, while LMJ ws perfect thru 5.

Whoever decided baseball needs three people in a booth is a moron. Late in his career Scully worked alone but I wouldn't recommend that for many. After last nights' game McCullers has the lowest MMP ERA among Houston pitchers with at least 175 IP at 2.30. Clemens and Oswalt come in next at 2.55. I never would have guessed that.

Ford and Sparks are really good, Kalas and Blum are much better than Ashby and Blum. I like Kalas' sonic qualities and think he does well at calling the action on the field, but his banter between calls is pedestrian and clichéd (Not just Kalas, it's a problem that permeates sports announcing). I don't need personality, I want play by play, the game is the show.
