Source confirms: George Springer agrees to guaranteed two-year, $24M contract with #Astros, avoiding arbitration. Will still have one year of arbitration remaining when deal expires. First reported: @BNightengale.

Yes, I suspect this is how it goes when the two sides want to be together.  Springer seems like he is a leader and of course, that is the type management wants.
