A bit of void fun

37 years before the Astros won their first World Series, they won their first division title.  Both happened to be in Dodger Stadium.

Great find, it is amazing what you can watch on Youtube now.

Also, it is really annoying now, to watch a game with out the score bug showing balls/strikes/outs/score.   It is crazy it took so long to implement that.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I took off work to watch the game at home. Mark was not yet two. Good times.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

It is also crazy you could do what it takes about five hours now to do in 2.5.

An aside, but a  friend sent this link to me, which is the Mets radio broadcast for the first Mets/Astros game in the dome.  Apparently you can find lots of historic radio broadcasts on YouTube.  He mentioned that he'd listened to a 1936 World Series broadcast.
