Thank you for lifting me up when we were down 4-0 -- almost went to bed.I would have missed a masterclass in resilience, toughness and hitting the shit out of the ball. Thanks DV -- its not your first state fair!
If I were managing I'd send Peacock back out there...
Yeah, some walks too.
Did we use Musgrove already?
On the Web ... is a recording of what she describes as her latest track, “What We Want,” a hip-hop-inflected rhythm-and-blues tune that asks, "Can you handle me, boy?" and uses some dated slang, calling someone her "boo."
Sure would be nice to have a closer not held together by papier-mâché and axe body spray right about now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Harris often allows inherited runners to score. One of the reasons I have to walk around the room when he pitches.
We don’t have a closer. Just trying to find a way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fuck that ginger cromagnon fuck stick. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
And just exactly what the hell's wrong with Axe body spray?
We are models of confidence around here.
Just think of all those poor TZer's in attendance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've never used a body spray. Does one spray from head to toe, front and back?

Maybe McCann can straighten out one of those smashes he's hit foul today . . .
interesting conversation that the mic picked up between Woodward and Taylor on the fly to Reddick. Sounds like Woodward meant to send him, but Taylor could not hear. Afterward Woodward said that he probably would have been out anyway with the throw.
mcannonball!
You at the game mate
Unfortunately, no.
Good piece of hitting by Springer.
I'm never going to sleep I guess.
Still have the lead. No more walks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Imagine having to get heart test tomorrow
Who does Hinch send out for the 10th?
No one, because they're winning it here.
Boy has Reddick sucked this postseason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Out of beer now too.
Bad pitch location with that shift.
Ethier is a dirty prick.
Can we win it here Please? I can't take much more Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Does uberfood do booze?
Nyet.
Well what is the point then?
Too tired to swear.
Dammit!
Hinch doesn't even trust Fisher to pinch run.
Wow. Thought that was a strike.Bregs can be the hero.
Today is my birthday. Best Bday present ever!
Man, I love Alex Bregman!!!!!!!!
Craziest baseball game I’ve ever seen.
ASTROS WIN! ASTROS WIN! ASTROS WIN!
Greatest game I’ve ever seen, at least since last week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fisher is one fast dude. I was expecting a play, but he easily beat it.
Love you guys! Love the Astros!
This whole run has been nothing but ye olde classic punch in the dick Astros playoff losses replayed with the good guys winning...
Also, when Springer walked I got to explain to my wife and son the strategy behind pinch running for McCann. Glad that they got to see it come to fruition.
I was yelling at the TV to hold him at third. I’m glad Gary Pettis is not me.
When they put him in I thought "is he really faster than Maybin?"There's my answer.
Maybin was already in the game after running for Yuli.
If the Astros win the series, they should put a statue of Pettis doing the windmill in front of MM.
Yeah, kudos to Hinch for that. It's sort of obvious, but not a slam dunk.
It was a must send.
I thought Bregman hit it too hard. But the throw took a while to come in.Again, glad Pettis is not me.
Still on an emotional high from this game. My living room floor is pretty worn out from all my pacing back and forth. What a game though, I doubt we'll see anything like that for a long time. But then again, I thought the same thing Wednesday Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Oh just to put a bow on it, the final score was Astros 13, Dodgers 12
Cool, it is now official!Great work mate, and BTW, do we pay you by the hour or per game?
A soon as the ball cleared the infield I spotted where Fisher was and started screaming "WE WON THE GAME! WE WON THE GAME!"Don't know how it looked to others but it for me was send send send without any thought.
Yes. Seeing Fisher take off I thought it might be a little closer, but that was my initial reaction too.
You’re welcome. I just believe this lineup is really special. Top to bottom there are no easy outs, and when clucking, they can hit anyone. That’s why I was upbeat at 4-0.But now the pen needs to do its job.
Wow... Bregman has had an RBI in all 5 World Series games so far. AJ called him as the MVP.
Story on the return of Puig's home run ball.
What an amazing team win. Right down to the fact that putting in Fisher to run was a no-brainer because Centeno is on the team. Probably would have had to pinch run for McCann anyway, but it's a much easier decision knowing you won't forfeit both the DH spot and defensive ability. Crazy to say, but I doubt one more reliever would have made such a difference given the infectious leakiness of the pen.
Back home safely in North Texas. Ride home afforded time to scan national shows for reaction. One nugget: over 200 pitches thrown, only 28 swings/misses.
It's a team sport, and when Fisher was asked to do what was almost certainly the only thing he'll be asked to do in this Series, he did it exquisitely. Got a good lead, took a perfect path, cut the corner like a pro, and made a potentially close play not close at all.
Strap on and clucking. You are on fire!
I met Yuli's brother (all because of his t-shirt) when leaving MMP.
Who, Lourdes Jr?
The emotional roller coaster was extreme. The Dodgers took the crowd out of it early, then Yuli’s blast got it rocking again. Bellinger’s homer put the lid back on, then Altuve’s answering homer tore it off again. On and on it went back and forth like a tennis match between elite players. I was exhausted, and for real and for awhile, I feared I was experiencing a very untimely cardiac event. I do not know if I scared Mark, but I was seriously alarmed. We got back to where we were staying about 1:40 am and stayed up for more than an hour reading and talking about the game. Mark kept saying “It does not seem real.” I did not sleep a wink until we left at 6 am to get Mark back home for work. What a game! Such a memorable experience for me made better because Mark was there too.
Paramedics hauled somebody out on a stretcher near us. It was in the early innings, too.
I would've been a lot more alarmed if I hadn't gone through that same feeling 2-3 times already during the game. When Altuve hit his home run, I had to sit down for a few seconds. I literally yelled myself out of oxygen, then forgot how to breathe for about 5 seconds. I had a really pretty black fireworks show happening before I realized I was in a bit of distress.
Never got that bad for me but I did get light headed a few times. And my heart rate is already high today. Turns out I was in the section just in front of you and Jim. Sorry I missed a chance to meet you guys (and BG at the ALDS G2, and all the other OWAers).
Do I remember correctly you are Ruben Miranda’s brother?
Nope, that's not me.
If he PBPs an Astros clincher, he can own the whole goddamn web site.
