NLCS Game 2, Cubs at Dodgers.
« on: October 15, 2017, 07:11:12 pm »
I hate them both.  I honestly don't know why I'm watching, except that I've already read everything on the internet I could find about the Astros.

Bottom of the 2nd, 0-0, 2 outs, Hernandez on first.

I hope that the series goes seven games, all of which are 18 inning affairs. I hate both teams too.

Say what you will about the laconic Joe Buck, this TBS PBP guy is exhausting.

That would be a wonderful thing.

I don't like the Yankees, but I had no problem rooting for them in order to gain home-field advantage.

I am absolutely incapable of rooting for the Cubs.

The Cubs seem over-matched.  I'd like them to win tonight though.

As a kid, I HATED the dodgers.

Especially Lasorda.  Renting first place.  He rented clean underwear.

And of course FTC.

Addison Russell no-out home run puts the Cubs up by 1 in the top of the 5th.

End of 6, Lester out, some other Cub in.  A Puig strikes out to end the inning.  Still tied, 1-1.

Jansen plunks Rizzo on the right hand and Contreras swings at 3 fastballs, none near the zone.

It may be, but his complexion isn't far off mine.  I think he's just going to grow on me during the playoffs post[-]season, and not in a good way.
