Rubber game!
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Reddick lines out to CF at the wall

I'm not surprised Trout hits .300.  His stike zone is non-existent.  If he doesn't swing, it's a ball.

As much as I appreciate the effort....note to Ken Giles:  it doesn't take any courage to say "I hung a slider".  Not even a little.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Didn't expect Giles once those two insurance runs were plated. He needs to get it done.

Jose with the glove, and arm!

Toughest part of their order.  I actually like Hinch's philosophy in these situations.

B8:

Giles in...

Phillips grounds out 4-3 on a spectacular play by Altuve, ranging far to his right to the SS side of the bag, backhands, jump throw and a pick by Yuli.  Put a blue star next to that one!
Trout strikes out swinging
Upton shatters his bat on a slow roller to SS

4-1 Astros

T9:

Salas in for the Angels...

Beltran doubles off the CF wall
Fisher to pinch run for Beltran
Gurriel with a flair single to LF, Fisher to 3B
Maybin pinch running for Gurriel
McCann...infield in...sac fly to CF...Fisher scores
Springer...full count...grounds out 5-3...Maybin running on the pitch to 2B
Reddick lines up the middle, but the SS is right behind the bag on the shift, and it's an F6

But the Astros get one more...headed to the 9th...5-1 Astro

It was pretty sweet. He juiced it into the gap and then stretched a triple into a double.

Altuve's play was completely out of control.

Nice win. Devo looked good except for the predictable meatball to Puljos. 3 straight 4-seamers?

Has Devo always fallen off to the first base side that much?  I don't remember it so much but it could be because it's 1:45am and I am dog tired.
Another trenchant comment by a jealous lesser intellect.

He's also had seven starts where he didn't go long enough to qualify for a decision.  The Astros are 5-2 in those starts.

Seems almost inconceivable to me that the club's most consistent starter this year probably won't be a part of any post-season rotation (if, of course, Houston is in the post-season).  Will certainly open up the floor to the second-guessers if anyone other than Keuchel and Verlander  pitch less than outstanding.

I'm going to assume you meant "post season rotation".  He'll definitely be on the roster.  And I wouldn't be sure he won't start.

Peacock is the clear cut #3 right now.   I expect him in the rotation, unless 2 of McHugh/Morton/McCullers have 3 7+ IP, 3 runs or less starts to end the season.

The whole "Peacock as the swingman" fell off the tracks about the time Musgrove decided to be Devenski's equal.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"
