So, Sipp ended up on the DL???  Anyone know the physical injury?

And In Luhnow I Trust, In Fiers, not so much.

They've played 100 games of baseball in the last three months.  Everyone has a sore something...arm, leg, vagina, feelings...

The pitch to Longoria wasn't that bad...change up in on the hands that Longoria waited on.  The 3-2 to Morrison was a cookie

Hope that run doesn't come back to haunt us. It looked like Fisher played it safe and pulled up to field it on a hop instead of charging and diving.

I wonder if they're being coached that way after all the crazy injuries...
I doubt it. Trying to consciously avoid an injury in the midst of an athletic feat is a good way to get injured.

I doubt it. Hinch has said he doesn't try to interfere too much with the players' instincts on those types of matters, even sliding head first into home.

B7:

Marwin doubles off the LF wall
Beltran singles to LCF, Marwin scores

That chases Archer, Cishek in

Gattis doubles to RCF, Beltran to 3B
Bregman grounds out 3U, Beltran scores, Gattis to 3B
Marisnick...0-2...1-2...2-2...3-2...pops out F4

Cishek out, Jennings in

Fisher walks

Jennings out, Hunter in

Altuve grounds out 6-3

6-4 Rays
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Frustrating

Fisher w the patient at bat taking a walk and Altuve sees 2 pitches nowhere near the zone to chop one to 2nd.  Terrible at bats by him and Jake, stranding Gattis.

These umpires are consistently bad on fairly routine plays.

Altuve is his own worst enemy with the game on the line.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

I don't know...after being hard hit, it's really important to make sure the correct number are still present.  Too many or too few are both very bad.

A 5 oz missile in the nuts will definitely make you rethink your priorities...  Did Sucre hurl?  The MLB.tv feed went to a commercial break prett quick so I guessed they didn't want to show the technicolor yawn.

He didn't hurl, but I'm sure he was wishing someone would shoot him and put him out of his misery.  I've had my cup shattered a couple of times, and coughed blood once.  The boys are fine now though.  As far as I can tell.
