McCullers can't find the plate with a map and a lantern.

B2 0 out, bases loaded, 1-0 B'More.
He breezed him, one more time!

A double play scores another, an Adam Jones single scores a third run, and finally Machado strike out to stop the bleeding.

End 2: 3-0 B'More
He breezed him, one more time!

McCullers has been bad since coming off the DL.

Is that just anecdotal on my part, or do the stats back that up?

It is not your imagination. He has a few weeks to get back on track or it won't make much difference what pitcher they can obtain by the deadline. C'mon Lance.

To me, it's always seemed like he's walking a tightrope, but in the past he's been able to avoid falling off. The last three starts he hasn't even been able to climb on.

Ron Darling on TBS (still an asshole) was talking about his composure on the mound.

If Altuve slides straight into the plate, as is his right, he is probably safe.

Never let them see you get upset, words to that effect.

Solid play by the O's catcher there.

And on the DL.  The catcher's left leg placement was definitely questionable.

At this point, I'd consider sending *him* down to work on shit in Fresno when Keuchel comes back.

McCullers has no clue where the ball is going right now.  At least there's a week to the deadline so Lunhow can intensify his search for a top of the rotation starting pitcher.
