The Blue roster looked up to date to me. Wasn't quite sure about the Orange roster. Also when I looked at both rosters I didn't see 2016 signees Nova, Carrasco, Solis, Alvarez and Ortega. It could mean GCL is the destination for some of those guys (Nova?) or that there are still some roster adjustments to be made.

Yeah, that Orange roster from 4-5 hours ago was a preliminary one. Nova, Carrasco, Solis, Alvarez and Ortega have all now been added to it.

Maybe the start of better things in 2017: hit 2 homers yesterday in his first game of the season (had no HRs last year).

  • C Nerio Rodriguez--signed for $450K in 2016 out of the DR. Blue

#Astros' Nerio Rodriguez, 17, caught 5 of 5 stealing in DSL today. That's happened 2x in @MLB since 1924. He also homered. Never happened.

Rodriguez (currently .354/.466/.535 with 26 BBs vs 14 Ks in 144 ABs) still leads the DSL in OPS as well as BA and is 2nd in OBP. Urdaneta (.335/.432/.468) is now 10th in the league in OPS.

(Tejada of course was promoted to the GCL three weeks ago.)
